7/8 done!

Wow! SCS life really passes much faster than life in tekong. in a flash, 7 weeks have passed. Well i must say SCS gave me both good and bad memories, alot of chances to reflect upon myself, and probably made me stronger.
This week was indeed shag, as there was no time to slp for 3/4 nights there.
Monday: Damn rifle cleaning. indeed a shag day and also the day that i tio my 1st extra/confinement? haha luckily it wasnt on a weekend =)
Wednesday: Being a prowler and 1 hr of gate ic. the SCS dog was really fun to patrol around with =)(except for the part that it tried to bite me during turnout.)
Thursday : Was on the 2nd/3rd bus back from walking in nature (where we saw lizard(?) eggs, opened an unripe durian, bashed through shoulder height vege), but last 5 teams to finally get back to bunk DUE TO RIFLE CLEANING. O damn i really hate that.
Thinking back, i must been quite an ass on thursday and friday, rushing quite abit sometimes when we have so much time left. This is a really bad habit for me, always being like a kan jiong spider worrying about random stuffs. But i think it is always good to still have abit of sense of urgency in doing things, so that i can rly rest without worrying if the task will be completed in time.
On a side note, i m officially a heartsaver! haha although i haven get the card for it. The lesson was well delivered in a funny and engaging manner, helping me remember how to help others next time if someone chokes or even has a heart attack.
Yesterday was also the 2nd time i revisit bishan J8, the 1st time being 1 week ago. It is really nostalgic to see the old route i used to walk from home to sch and back home. I even bought the same things (strawberry milk tea + shilin chicken cutlet) on the way back as i used to during my secondary school days. I must admit that during my secondary school days, i never knew i will miss it that much. Afterall, it is really nothing exciting, nothing interesting. But somehow, it just feels like i should have done more things during the days, when i really have that much time on my hand to walk around looking random places. Indeed, NS makes people want to treasure their personal time more, but it is still very important to once in a while, take a step back and relax, really doing nothing but just relax.
Also, it was really very long since i last visited the market near my house. I never knew how crowded it would be on a saturday until yesterday. The vibrant night there made me wonder how much good food have i missed out there. Perhaps i will go there more often next time to try out the food =)
O yea, the happy hour was really well prepared! kudos to the organising com for making it quite a memorable night for us. But i must say i feel bad for the 2 'angels' (haha) dancing alone with all of us paiseh to go up and dance too. Comon u cant really except a group of NS dudes who dunnoe how to dance to dance around 2 girls right? but yea, the $2 beer was enjoyable, and so was the food and touching video made by our lecture room IC (who got himself employed for 4 more months =) )
well, just 1 more week left. Whether i stay or not its not up to me, but i just want to get it done and over with
